About the organizer: My name is Megan Stotts. I’m a digital education strategist by day, passionate crafter by night, mother to a very active, very creative and imaginative 2.5-year-old all the time. I’ve taught students ages 1 to 70. I hold an MA from Teacher’s College at Columbia University in Teaching English as a Second Language with a focus on curriculum and instructional design, and a minor in Painting from Ohio University. I love crafting with my son, and have found simple, age-appropriate “crafting hacks” to adapt crafts to children’s abilities and interests. I also enjoy finding the teachable moments in the craft process, and sharing it with parents and their children. If you aren’t artsy, don’t worry about it – it’s all about the process, not the product!
